no, its an urban legend that she said that, so no one really knows and no they do not, it ends with her being taken to paris to be imprisoned, and the more common quote is "Let them eat cake." Overall good movie, not the most accurate, but I enjoyed it

i loved this movie the plot was not great (you really have to know about marie antoinette to get the ending and how the movie played out) but the filming was beautiful i think if the movie didnt have its soundtrack i think it would have been boring because the music does make it fun and different ;)

Did they show what happened to her in the movie? Going to prison,(cough) getting head cut off(cough) etc? Most likely not... and i heard she was told that the people were starveing and had no bread to eat and she said "well, give them cake!" i laughed my ass off when my teacher told me that! Is that actually true?
