personally i think its a really really really big metaphor for suicide he goes through all that just to kill himself partly because its to save everyone and to kill himself because he knows he will die alone and he accepted it he goes through the five staged of death throughout the film and he is depressed and wants to die i think so he kills himselfa HUGE metaphor for suicide in my opinion

when I first saw the movie, when Frank would appear out of nowhere(in the bunny costume) I'd have a mini heartattack, but he got me hooked and I saw it again and again, never hating it and Frank freaking me out. Love always the movie!

The Directors Cut helped me better understand this movie. It is forever in my Top 3 movies of all time. Simply brilliant. Not many others quite like it.

This movie was very strange, I had to watch it another time over just to get a grasp of the situation throughout. I could probably watch it several more times and still find new things each time.

u can loook at it a million ways but i think the ending is that he goes back in time to prevent all of the stuff in the film from happening and to kill himself because he knows hell die alone plus everyone wakes up with a bit of memory or how he affected them thats why frank touches his eye and swayze is crying so he goes back to kill himself cus he wants to die and to save everyone from what he did

he went back to the day the plane fell on the house and he stayed in the house for getting killed.in that way everything we could see didn't happen and nobody died because of him. he sort of sacrificed himself...
