well you have to remember it was nearly 10 years ago too when 100's of thousands were being spent on videosso this was relatively cheap, but i completely agree with you i wanted a narrative video not something so abstract and cheesy love red hearts bla bla. The record label always think they know best. The director was a cool guy though I must say and he'd won awards before for his videos but they are all abstract he doesnt do story telling vids.

£70,000??? That's crazy. Was that the directors fee? To stand in a room painted red with lots of heart balloons shouldn't have run up such a bill. This is a beautiful song on the same scale as Lauryn Hill's Ex Factor and deserves a similarly lush video.

that video is so cheap...why wasn't she lay on a summers day, looking at the sky,dancing with a guy in a rain and lay on sand while the sun sets? wouldn't have cost much more.
