Connie wasn't the only kid to audition, lots of kids auditioned, but Connie as the only one to make it to the final. If you watch simons face when Connie first walks on stage, hes obviously not impressed by Connies cuteness or that shes 6. As soon as she started to sing Simon sat up like a prairie dog. All the judges can be clearly seen clapping her performance and at the end simon says she was "incredible" and he was "seriously impressed" and agreed she could be a "potential winner".
